我竞聘的岗位是英语教师岗位，竞聘这一岗位的理由如下：

二、职业道德方面

2、胜任班主任工作，本人一直以来就担任班主任工作，从末间断，在班级管理方面取得了一定的成绩，多次被评为优秀班主任，我所担任的班级也被评为了文明班集体。

a、更加科学规范地做好日常教学工作，认真落实教学常规工作，确保教学质量稳中有升。做一个学习型的教师。在工作中不断完善自我，充实自我；拓宽自己的知识面，早日使自己的教学再上一个新的台阶。
b、顺应教学改革方向，积极参加教学改革，做教育教学的有心人。以人为本，因材施教，根据不同学生的不同特点，采取不同的教学方法；关注全体，关注差异，教他们学会学习，学会做人。根据英语学科的特点，我打算开展“任务型教学”实验活动，把学习者个人的生活经历作为课堂学习的主要资源，力图将课堂内的语言学习与课堂外的语言活动结合起来。
每上一节课，我会突出“八个抓八个不”：
一、抓听讲集中，不能过于松散无束；
二、抓讨论合作的效果，不能流于教学形式；
三、抓发言与质量，不能让课堂死气沉沉；
