good morning:honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends. isquo;m very glad to stand here to share my speech with you. today isquo;m going to talk about love and take care of nature.each life on the earth has a long and touching evolutionary story. from the origin, the lives of the human being are equal to those of others; they both are the composing parts of mother nature. nevertheless, for some inexplicable reasons, the human becomes the spirits of all creatures. of course, it is the result of the evolution, but still we should be grateful to all our companions in nature for the opportunity they offer. in spite of this, humans cannot live without earth.
they live on the earth, drink the sweet water, and enjoy the sunshine, the air, the sky, the fruit; the grains utilize the energy and so on. in a word, the human being cannot live without nature, and mother nature makes us grow stronger. i do not like the word "pet", but preferring the word "animal" instead. i have been loving animal since i was just a little boy. when thinking of the "pet fashion", i always feel much annoyed. for the animals will be given a shackle and lose their liberty if they become someone\'s pets. their natural attribution can be deprived, too. up to now, relying on their scientific power, the human have opened up too much and over developed nature, in order to fill up their growing appetites of wealth.
they destroy the balance of nature, however, they don\'t realize, their own development and existence will be threatened. therefore, our sights should be focused on nature and we should try to develop the concept of "keeping human and nature in unity". we should lay emphasis on our education with consider cultural and natural emotion. to use the vivid example to wake up the conscience in people\'s hearts.

ever since the dawning of the history of mankind, there have been myriads of diversifed inventions, discoveries, and even explorations of the mysteries of the universe. in fact, the human beings are so intelligent that we have solved almost all kinds of problems we have confronted with .
however, nobody has ever made out what the word love really connotes, not even the most famous people such as great politicians, saints and philosophers can clarify the meaning of love , neither can they deal with the various affairs concerning love. love is like a huge boundless net that shrouds us all in. we can neither break away from it nor escape from it. like it or not, we are always entangled in it. it is an invisible net without any form, that shrouds in different people from different angels;
it is a merciless net that upsets us or even tortures us to death. it is also a supreme net which almost no human can surpass. even if they are heroes, emperors, wise men or saints, they can do nothing but show their helplessness in its face. those who can breathe through the holes of the net should be regarded beyond commonness and vulgarity. love can bring us temporary comfort and happiness, but mostly they bring about annoyance and sufferings. maybe this is the reason why many people have seen through the illusions of the mortal world. however it is not so easy to break away from this boundless, ever-existing and indifferent net of love.
love is varied and changeable, but roughly it can be divided into three categories: family love, fraternal love and amatory love. not like monkey king who jumped out of the rocks, we were all born after mother's pregnancy of about nine months, hence we have countless relatives without any choice: parents, grand-parents, and grand-parents-in-law, uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters, etc. and once looking at the genealogical tree, we'll see no end. family love is what everyone longs for, but the warmth and support from our beloved ones are what everyone yearns for the most. but how many of us are determined to contribute to our beloved one? and how many don't expect repayment and relaxed. conscience even if they have the desire and
preparation to contribute to their beloved. the distance between relatives is different and so are their expectations. but since it's very difficult to know how much we should expect, a lot of worries and distresses emerge.
parents always expect their children to show their filial obedience, or at least pay them frequent visits after they have got married. if the children fail to do this, they feel hurt and upset, and they'll even complain about their children, because they just can't understand why their children don't care about them after what they have done for the children for so many years to bring them up. nevertheless, one's experience determines his ideology. young children are naturally attached to their parents, but when they grow up, specially when they have made their own friends, and got married, what they need most is independence and freedom, and parents sometimes might become their burden. once there is generation gap, it becomes more difficult to communicate and this keeps them away from their parents. objectively speaking, they need more independence in order to achieve success. in the present society, what the children want to have most is the economic support from their parents, not their moral support or guidance. they would complain if your economic support is not up to their expectations. the love from uncles and aunties would naturally dwindle after they have had their own children. only the love from grand-parents and grand parents-in-law is pure and demands no repayment, and they are also too old to wait for any repayment. as for the distant relatives, their love depends on their needs, just as the old saying goes the poor have no friends even if they live in downtown while the rich have distant relatives even if they live in deep mountains . granny liu, a distant kinsfolk, in a dream of the red mansions , claims kinship with the wealthy jia family, thinking that she may benefit from it in some ways. liu might have run away without any traces if the jia family had been a poor one. another saying goes close neighbors are better than distant relatives. the most difficult is to manage the relatives when doing business together, just as what the tv series program liu laogen discloses. it is all right to stay poor together, but as soon as the business grows prosperous, the group will become estranged and even dissolve because of the unfair distribution. family love is like a maze which we shouldn't go too far into it, otherwise, we'll surely get lost. love is a bilateral matter and unilateral love can only lead you to nowhere in spite of your good intentions. family love is, sometimes, like an arranged marriage, leaving no choices to you. due to the different experiences and tastes, staying together.

i have had a lot of teachers in my school who have given me much help in my study. for their help i will never forget them. but today i am going to talk about a special teacher of mine. this teacher is not a human being and its name is“computer”. it has been teaching me a lot of knowledge and i appreciate it very much.
with the development of modern science and technology, computers are widely used in every teritories including education. how can a computer be my teacher? how does a computer teach me? multimedia(多媒体)helps a lot in this aspect in recent years, and computer-based training (cbt) has become a popular educational medium (手段). even before the multimedia come up, many different learning systems appeared, using the components and techniques we now associate with the term “multimedia”. multimedia components, such as graphics (动画) , animations , sound and video, make the learning process easier through visualization. animations can present many complex subjects dynamically, but human teachers can not do this on blackboards. multimedia makes our study more lively and interesting. for example, a cd-rom disk named “encarta encyclopedia” contains 650 mb information including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts, hotwords, and database search functions. fields involved includes physical
sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education and so on. when pressing a button, i can hear american president clinton's speech clip. i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world. i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. this makes physical concept to be understood deeply. the audio features of multimedia can greatly help me learning foreign languages. with its speech output capabilities, i'm no longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.
how can i interact with a computer? there are many ways, including keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. i often use a keyboard. when i press right keys, i can see and hear whatever i want. information world is at my fingertip. i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one day.
as teachers, computers have a lot of virtues： they are positive, they have good memories and never lose any information stored in them. they have much knowledge in every field. they can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also improve the efficiency of our study. for example, if i want to, i can skip some chapters so that i can study at my own pace.

as students,we could share more time with our friends.the friendship in our young hearts is pure,fresh and simple.i often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends.especially when i had justin as one of my best friends.justin was my english teacher from the usa.i met him in 1996 when i was a student who could only speak very little english.justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face,and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive.he taught us english by telling stories,playing games,singing songs,and even dancing.i could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class,we went to some other classes to sing songs for them,just like what people do in the states on christmas eve.
it was so interesting and unforgettable.justin was an excellent teacher,because he taught us not only how to study english well,but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives.i know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts.facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important,the real importance lay in faith,under-standing,and care.justin is the best friend i have ever had,and i know i will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.
friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives.it is actually like a bottle of wine,the longer it is kept,the sweeter it will be.it is also like a cup of tea.when we are thirsty,it will be our best choice,but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves,it is also the most fragrant drink.
